You only have one spine - look after it! Chiropractic care aims to restore healthy joint function in the spine and other joints, reducing inflammation, stiffness and spasm and restoring healthy nerve function. Allowing your bodies natural healing ability to return.
Most people don't realise that Chiropractors have to train for 4-5 years in a full time capacity and be registered with the General Chiropractic Council to be able to practice in the UK. All of our Chiropractors are fully qualified and registered and we have ongoing in house and external training of at least 30 hours every year to keep on learning and developing our skills.
Chiropractic care in the UK is usually associated with having treatment for common conditions such as back pain, neck pain, athritic conditions, sciatica and many other complaints. And we have helped many thousands of people with these conditions over the last 20 plus years. But Chiropractic is about much more than just pain relief, once the initial condition has recovered many people report huge improvements in overall health and wellbeing.
This can occur because of the specific correction of spinal joint dysfunction and how that releases stress on the nervous system allowing the body to return to a state of ease and balance.
An adjustment is a movement given to restore normal function to a joint, most commonly in the spine but including any other joints from knees, ankles, hips, shoulders and small joints like the wrist or hand. The adjustment is usually pain free and often relief can be felt immediately, though in some cases it can take time. All joints need movement to stay healthy, without movement inflammation, adhesions, altered nerve function and arthritis can develop.
