Struggling with Back or Neck Pain? IDD Therapy Could Help.

Struggling with back or neck Pain? IDD Therapy could help.

We’re delighted that IDD Spinal Decompression Therapy has been helping so many people at both Haywards Heath Spinal Health and Guildford Spinal Health to get back to doing the things they love.

IDD (Intervertebral Differential Dynamics) Therapy is a non-surgical treatment that uses controlled spinal decompression and mobilisation to target specific areas of the spine. It aims to relieve pressure, reduce pain and improve mobility.

It can also be used alongside chiropractic care, massage and prescribed exercises as part of an individual treatment plan.

‍

Why did we introduce IDD?

We were inspired to explore IDD after hearing encouraging experiences from other clinics. Our good friend and colleague, Dr Peter Townsend, a Doctor of Chiropractic, suffered a severe disc herniation and faced the possibility of surgery.

After trying IDD alongside chiropractic care, massage and exercises, he made significant progress, returned to work and was able to avoid surgery at that time. His experience encouraged us to bring this technology into our own clinics to offer more options to our patients.

‍

Could IDD Therapy be right for you?

IDD may be suitable for people experiencing:

  • Slipped, bulging or herniated discs.
  • Sciatica and pain travelling down the leg.
  • Neck or back pain associated with disc problems.
  • Pins and needles or numbness linked to spinal conditions.
  • Degenerative disc disease.

An initial assessment will help us determine whether IDD is appropriate for your individual needs.
