The Spinal Health Clinics are back at Run Reigate
We’re excited to be part of Run Reigate this Sunday!
Our team from The Spinal Health Clinics will be at the event supporting runners, families and everyone taking part. Whether you’re lining up for your first race, chasing a personal best or simply enjoying the atmosphere, we’ll be there to help you get the most out of your day.
Free spine and posture checks
Running places repetitive demands on the body, and good movement starts with good foundations.
Throughout the day, our team will be offering FREE spine and posture checks. These quick checks are a great opportunity to learn more about your posture, movement and how your body is coping with the demands of running.
Our team will be on hand to answer questions and offer general advice around looking after your spine and musculoskeletal health, whether you’re a regular runner or just getting started.
Sports massage before and after your race
We’ll also be running sports massage sessions before and after the race, helping participants prepare for their event and recover afterwards.
A pre-event massage can be incorporated into a wider warm-up routine to help you feel ready to move, while a post-event massage can be a useful part of your recovery routine, helping you relax and look after tired muscles.
Spaces may be limited, so make sure you come and find us at the event if you’d like to book a session.
Every massage helps raise money for two great causes
There’s an extra reason to book a sports massage with us on the day. 100% of the proceeds from our massage sessions will go directly to:
- The Pahar Trust supporting education and improving opportunities for children and communities in Nepal.
- Mid Sussex Hockey Club helping support the local hockey community and the development of players.
So, while you’re doing something positive for your body, you’ll also be helping to support two fantastic causes.

How chiropractic, spinal Care and massage can help runners
Running is a fantastic way to stay active, but the repetitive nature of the sport means that your muscles, joints and spine are regularly exposed to load.
Chiropractic and spinal care can form part of a broader approach to musculoskeletal health, with care focused on assessing movement, identifying areas that may be contributing to discomfort and helping people manage their physical activity. For runners, maintaining good movement through the spine, hips and lower limbs can be particularly important. Your body works as a connected system, so restrictions or discomfort in one area can sometimes affect how you move elsewhere.
Sports massage can also be a useful addition to a runner’s training and recovery routine. It can help with muscle relaxation and may help runners feel more comfortable following demanding training sessions or races.
Of course, every runner is different, and the right approach depends on your individual circumstances, training load and any existing symptoms.
We’d love to see you at Run Reigate this Sunday.
Come along, meet the team, have a chat about your spine and posture, take advantage of your FREE spine and posture check, or book a sports massage and help us raise money for The Pahar Trust and Mid Sussex Hockey Club.
Good luck to everyone taking part. We’ll see you at the start line!
