Upper Back / Neck Pain
Upper Back/ Neck Pain
Most people do not realise how much they move their neck during the day until they are unable to do so. Even though the job of the neck and how it supports the head is very hard, it still has the least amount of muscular stabilisation which puts it into very high risks. Upper back pain can occur as a result of trauma or sudden injury, or it can occur through strain or poor posture over time especially with people working on computers most of the day. Most of the time if a person suffers from pain in either parts of the body it affects the other, because most of the muscles that are associated with the neck either attach to, or are located in, the upper back.

There are several causes behind upper back and neck pain such as injury, poor posture, chiropractic subluxations, stress, and in some instances or disc problems. Problems in the neck can also contribute to headaches, muscle spasms in the shoulders and upper back, ringing in the ears, inflammation in the middle ear and restricted range of motion and chronic tightness in the neck and upper back.

However, Chiropractic treatment can help reduce the pain by performing physical and neurological exam in order to locate the source of pain and then deciding your best treatment plan.
